On June 26, 2025, Family Focus Rwanda proudly celebrated a heartwarming milestone — the graduation of our Nursery 3 children. These young learners, many of whom began their journey in Baby Class, were honored for completing the top level of nursery education. The event took place at their school, GS Camp Kanombe, and brought together proud parents, dedicated teachers, Family Focus staff, and smiling children.
It was a day full of joy, hope, and a sense of accomplishment — not only for the children but also for the families and community members who have supported them every step of the way.
The ceremony began in the morning under the bright Kigali sun. Dressed in black and yellow graduation gowns, the children looked confident and ready for what lies ahead. Parents beamed with pride as their children received certificates, marking their successful completion of the nursery cycle.
Family Focus was there to celebrate with them, not only in presence but also by gifting each graduate with a small present a symbol of love and encouragement for their future journey.
After the formalities, the celebration continued with cake, singing, and time for the children to play and enjoy themselves. There were so many smiles and laughs — the kind of pure joy that only children can bring to a gathering.
This graduation was more than a ceremony. It was a reminder of the power of community. For many of these children, accessing early childhood education would not have been possible without the support of Family Focus and the generosity of our partners and donors. It is because of this collective effort that today’s celebration was possible.
As the event came to an end, one thing was clear — this was just the beginning. These children are now ready to move on to Primary school with confidence, curiosity, and support. Their journey continues, and we are honored to walk alongside them.
