Emmanuel is currently a Lecturer in the faculty of Environmental Studies at The University of Lay Adventists of Kigali and a Trainer at Rwanda Management Institute.

He holds a Master’s degree in International Disaster Management from The University of Manchester and a Bachelor of Education in Geography acquired from University of Rwanda. During his professional career prior to his master studies, he served in refugee camps in Rwanda in the sector of WASH (Water Sanitation and Hygiene) in addition to other humanitarian activities.

He also worked in development projects which aimed at improving the lives of vulnerable people in rural areas, specifically in the public health and agriculture activities. He is passionate about humanitarian work and policy making in reduce community vulnerability specifically to climate change.
